Volunteer Days at the Rose Avenue Urban Farm
Every Friday, DCM collaborates with the McGreen Team from McNair High School during one of Rose Avenue Urban Farm’s Volunteer Days.
Last Friday, August 11th, DCM and the McGreen Team continued to fill up the garden beds with soil, water our crops, and throw away leftover weeds. View our progress below!
And guess what? We’ve bought weed killer!! This Friday and the next, we plan to use those materials in order to finally put an end to hours of pulling evergrowing weeds and replace our precious time with planting seeds and creating compost, so please be sure to join us!
The Rose Avenue Urban Farm has also made its way to Serve Jersey City as an official agency, so check out our page!

The Rose Avenue Urban Farm Needs Your Help
Thank you to those who have been joining us on Fridays! We greatly appreciate your time dedicated to helping the farm, and we’d love for you to come back again and join us once more and help the farm reach fruition.
How can you help?
You can join us and volunteer at the farm!
When: Friday, August 18th
Time: 8 AM to 11 AM
Where: 247 Old Bergen Road, Jersey City, NJ, 07305
What: Meet at Triangle Park Community Center before heading over to the farm
